The unconventional Badass Leader brand works with leaders and teams in safety and reliability, maintenance, logistics, warehouse management, and many other industries. At this point in my experience, I’m thrilled to be able to spend my time supporting the industries that fulfill my purpose while feeding my soul. I have a deep desire to make leadership fun and impactful for new leaders, to guide them in creating a solid people foundation to build their business upon, to grow into themselves, and to minimize the headaches that often come with leading teams. Leadership development isn’t just for Wall Street, but I believe everyday industries and leaders can benefit greatly from these lessons. It’s a massive missed opportunity to not work on your own development as a leader, no matter if you work in the barn or the boardroom.

. Conflict and disharmony in the workplace is often the direct result of ineffective leadership. We’ve all had experiences with a bad boss or manager (I was that bad boss myself, *gulp*) and we know how much damage it can cause to a culture. I’ve also had some real Ass-as-Boss experiences, which drove me even more to work on myself and become an architect of a badass team. Fortunately, today there is much needed sensitivity around behaviors previously practiced; we no longer need to tolerate a #BullyBoss and certainly there are an abundance of tools at our disposal to ensure we don’t become one. This is why I do what I do.
The just-released second edition of the book From Bad to Badass Leader dives into what it takes to be an epic coach and build a badass team. But unlike the first edition, it also reflects on my experiences and lessons learned these past few years as workplaces and teams have shifted drastically.
