Are you stuck in a victim mindset?
I was once coaching a client who was stuck in a victim mindset, which wasn’t serving who they wanted to become as a leader. They were expending time, energy and lost sleep on collecting evidence that they were treated unfairly and everyone else was the problem. A mindset I had become too intimately familiar with in my earlier years. I challenged their mindset choice and invited them to consider a different possibility by stepping into an empowered and influencing mindset, one that could affect the change they wanted to see. #LoveMeSomeGandhi
The best news is, later that evening, I received a text from the client, sharing that it ended up being their best day yet and how they realized how incredibly powerful they could be.💡#MindsetMatters #BetheChange
There is a lot of ego out there, and I’ve spent my fair share of time swimming – or should I say drowning – in my own. #NotServingMeOneBit It can be far too easy to buy into our own story and negativity – it can cause us to fall into bad habits and ineffective leadership tendencies. You’ve gotta slow your roll and remember that who you show up as will massively impact you, your team, and your organization.
